Elan’s Service contracts are tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. We recognise the need for prompt response times, clear communication and minimal disruptions without compromising on the quality of our service. Our technicians and engineers are experienced and receive regular training, enabling Elan to maintain a wide range of lift types.

 

Our scheduled visits enable our experienced Technical Team to maintain the efficiency of your lifts, reducing down-time needed for unexpected lift failures.

We understand that not every contract is the same and at Elan we tailor each contract to suit our clients’ requirements, should that be flexibility on the amount of attendances annually or cost to work within your budget. Our Sales and Service team are available to answer any questions and support you in deciding the level of cover to suit your needs.
All new installations come with a one-year fully comprehensive service contract. All our contracts can provide access to a 24 hour Out-of-Hours Emergency Call Out service. Our service team is always available to support with tailoring our support to your service needs

Levels Of Service Maintenance Cover

Fully Comprehensive Cover (Gold)

Our Fully Comprehensive maintenance agreement cover includes servicing at regular intervals during normal working hours (08:00 – 17:00) to inspect, complete all necessary oiling, cleaning and adjusting of the lift equipment. It also includes 24/7 callouts (including out of hours, weekends and Bank Holidays), and replacement of worn or faulty parts.
Fully Comprehensive Cover has the advantage of spreading the cost while ensuring regular maintenance and extending the life of your lift.

Semi Comprehensive Cover (Silver)

This level of cover includes attending site at regular intervals during normal working hours (08:00 – 17:00) to inspect, complete all necessary oiling, cleaning and adjusting of the lift equipment. It also includes callouts during normal working hours (Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00), and replacement of minor parts due to reasonable wear and tear up to an agreed value.
Semi Comprehensive Cover ensures the regular maintenance of your equipment, while allowing you to decide on the level of breakdown support, cost and timing of larger repairs.

Standard Cover (Bronze)

This level of cover includes servicing at regular intervals during normal working hours (08:00 – 17:00) to inspect, completing all necessary oiling, cleaning and adjusting of plant. Servicing would include any small onsite repairs made necessary by normal usage.
Standard Cover is appropriate for owners requiring a short-term lift maintenance contract, allowing you to decide on the level, cost and timing of their repairs.

Repairs & Breakdowns

We utilise Remote Lift Monitoring software, enabling us to monitor our lifts in real time, diagnose faults remotely and resolve issues quickly.

When lift repairs are required, our service team work to prioritise and co-ordinate our engineers, whilst ensuring our clients are kept fully informed throughout the process. The organisation and location of our engineers ensures fast response times. Our logistics team works to guarantee our engineers have access to the parts they require for fast, efficient repairs.

When breakdowns occur a quick response time is prioritised. The client is regularly updated, and our technicians work to ensure the lift is operational and safe. If a breakdown occurs out-of-hours, our 24-hour Service Provision will contact the duty engineer and call out team immediately.

Monitoring our lift repairs and breakdowns allows us to track repeated call outs, ensuring accurate reporting and preventative measures to resolve ongoing issues.

Many older lift installations contain worn but obsolete parts (especially door parts), if these parts are no longer available it may be necessary to replace the entire component, often at considerable time and expense. Our in-house design team has the facility to produce 3d printed prototypes of the damaged part that is then professionally manufactured using high quality Selective Laser Sintering (SLS).
